Tio Pil's Hotel, formerly Lily's Hotel, was built by Felipe Paz Sr., affectionately known as Tio Pil, a pioneer in San Pedro's tourism industry.
With hard work and dedication, Tio Pil opened the hotel's doors in 1970 with one ambition in mind: to offer genuine Belizean hospitality and a unique Caribbean/Central American vacation at an affordable price!
Today, his legacy continues as Tio Pil's remains one of the very few Belizean owned, family-run, beachfront budget hotels on Ambergris Caye.
